Prithviraj Chauhan -his last days (3)

As I wrote in my post ‘Prithviraj Chauhan -His last days (2), I have been going through lot many versions of narrations on the great hero by different other authors/historians to meet numerous queries raised by my otherwise quite inquisitive readers on the subject quite frequently. Although it is not quite possible to meet all the queries on individual footing, I do feel it is incumbent on my part to cover salient areas on the last days of the great warrior in a summed up form. I am thankful to many of my readers who gave me much of feed back to me by way of their comments.Prithvi_Raj_Chauhan[1] When badly defeated in the first battle of Tarain by Prithviraj Chauhan, Mohd Ghori begged for mercy and most kind hearted as Prithviraj Chauhan was he just spared him not realising that the invader was of a mean type and could behave in most treacherous a manner later on when getting an opportunity. He connived, saw to it that there was again a battle at Tarain. There again the Indian King emerged thumpingly victorious but before he could settle down with the victory he was conceitfully overpowered by the herd of enemy army, captured and dragged to invaders camp from where he was hurriedly taken to Ghazni. The story that followed is awefully humiliating with a volley of tortures on the Indian hero. He was blinded and so was done to his all time companion Chand Bardai, his court poet. As planned and worked out with dexterity by Chand Bardai, Prithviraj had a chance to exhibit his chivalry in bow and arrow skill which chance he took to brutally attack Ghori. There are two versions on this -one that his arrow could pierce the heart of Ghori killing him on the spot and the other that he was severely attacked but escaped. An eye witness account narrated by S.C.Sharma is there in his article in the Indian Express nearly a decade back as to how his grave in Ghazni is deliberately looked upon with disgrace and indignity by the locals in particular with a managed message from the referees for the purpose that it is here where the infidel king of Delhi lies burried. Nothing but highly unfortunate it is that the Indian King who fought and had to die for the country was denied his burial in his own country nor even his Indian counterparts or later the very Government of India took any pains to bring back his remains to India.

  1. FIRST BATTLE OF TARAIN

    RAJPUTS (Hindus) VS GHURIDS (Muslims)

    KING: PRITHVIRAJCHAUHAN vs SAHABUDDIN GHORI

GENERALS: GOVINDA RAI vs QUTDUDDIN AIBAK
    KHANDE RAI vs BHAKTHIARUDDIN
    HARIRAJ vs YULTAZ

INFANTRY: 1,50,000 rajputs vs 75,000 muslims
CAVALRY: 1,50,000 rajputs vs 25,000 muslims
ELEPHANTS: 3,000 rajputs vs 300 muslims
COURSE: Muhmud Ghori captured the important fort of Prithviraj in Batinda in just one day. Prithviraj came with his huge army to meet Ghori. The two armies met in the battlefield of Tarain. This battle is know as first battle of Tarain. The Rajputs were physically weaker, handsome and soft people when compared to Muslims who were strong, ugly and rough. Despite the Rajputs won the battle only by sheer number of weight. 1,00,000 soldiers died on Rajput side and 75,000 soldiers died on Muslim side. Though the loss was more on Rajput side the Muslims retreated, as they were small in number. Rajputs chased the Muslims but they cannot capture the Muslims because their horses were fast and so the Muslims managed to escape.

RESULT: RAJPUTS BECAME HAUGHTY, PROUD AND COMPLACENT WITH THIS VICTORY OVER MUSLIMS.

  2. SECOND BATTLE OF TARAIN (1192 A.D)

    RAJPUTS (Hindus) VS GHURIDS (Muslims)

KING: PRITHVIRAJ CHAUHAN vs SULTAN: GHORI

GENERALS: GOVINDA RAI vs GENERALS: QUTDUDDIN
    KHANDE RAI vs BHAKTHIAR
    HARIRAJ vs YULTAZ

    INFANTRY: 5,00,000 vs INFANTRY: 75,000
    CAVALRY: 5,00,000 vs CAVALRY: 25,000
    ELEPHANTS: 5,000 vs NO ELEPHANTS

REASON: Soon after the victory in the first battle of Tarain Prithviraj eloped with Samyuktha, the beautiful daughter of Jaichand, the king of Kanouj from her swayamvar to Delhi. Prithviraj married Samyuktha and the marriage was conducted grandly. They had their first night on the same day. Prithviraj lost himself in his lady’s love and they continued their honeymoon endlessly. Soon samyuktha gave birth to a male child. Prithviraj never left his Harem and continued his enjoyment with Samyuktha. Prithviraj captured his Batinda fort from the muslims only after 13 months. Ghori heard about the divine beauty of the Chauhan Queen and lusted towards her. So he regained his army soon and prepared for the next battle with the Chauhan. Prithviraj alarmed with the news of Ghori’s invasion that was taking place to rape his lovely wife, Samyuktha. He appealed to remaining two kingdoms in north India namely Chalukyas of Gujarat and Rathods of Kanouj for his help. The Chalukya king Bhim Dev was his brother-in-law and the Rathod king Jaichand was his father-in-law. With their help he raised the strength of his army tremendously. Thus Prithviraj united the whole north India and formed a vast and huge Rajput army to prevent Ghori from raping the Chauhan’s wife. Thus the main reason for second battle of tarain was Ghori’s lust to rape Prithviraj’s lovely wife Samyuktha. Though Prithviraj raised the strength of his army tremendously he and his army never practiced for war but wasted their time by wasting their seminal energy with their beautiful wives.

COURSE: Prithviraj and Ghori again met in the battlefield of Tarain. Prithviraj’s army had 5,00,000 soldiers in foot, 5,00,000 soldiers in horses and 5,000 soldiers in elephants. Ghori’s army had 25,000 soldiers in horses and 75,000 soldiers in foot. Prithviraj and his soldiers became very weaker than before as they had not practiced for the war and wasted their time by having sex with their lusty wives. On the other hand Ghori and his barbarians practiced well for the battle. In the battle that followed Prithviraj’s haughty rajputs were brutally massacred by the Muslims. Rajputs fell to the Muslims like bulls before wolves leaving their cow like wives as prey to wolf like Muslims. Towards evening more than 7,00,000 Rajputs were killed by the Ghurids. Ghori advanced towards Prithviraj to kill him. Afraid to fight with Ghori, Prithviraj dismounted his elephant, took his horse and ran away from the battlefield. Seeing their hero running away from the battlefield the other soldiers also took in heels. Ghori and his barbarians gave solid chase to the panic sticken fugitives and killed all of them. Ghori killed the horse of Prithviraj and captured him. Ghori gave a strong blow to Prithvi’s testis. Thus the Chauhan king became fainted and fell to the ground. With the captured Chauhan king, Ghori and his barbarians reached his capital. Samyuktha was about to perform Jauhar. But ugly Ghori captured her before Jauhar. Ghori killed Prithviraj cruelly by cutting his reproductive organ in front of his wife. Then he ate the testis of Prithviraj in front of his queen. Samyuktha fainted and fell down. Then Ghori raped Samyuktha cruelly and chewed her large breasts. Those sacred sexual parts of Samyuktha, which were enjoyed only by handsome Prithviraj were now made impure by ugly Ghori. Samyuktha soon committed suicide, as she was unable to bear the disgrace made to her by Ghori. Ghori killed the infant child of Prithviraj mercilessly. Ghori killed all the male Rajputs, raped all rajput women and made their children as slaves. Blood flowed like river in Chauhan Empire. Soon Ghori invaded Kanouj and Gujarat and destroyed them. Thus Ghori conquered the whole north India.

RESULT: THE MIGHTY CHAUHAN EMPIRE WAS DESTROYED BY THE GHURIDS. CHAUHAN KING PRITHVIRAJ WAS KILLED BY GHORI AND PRITHVIRAJ’S LOVELY WIFE SAMYUKTHA WAS RAPED BY GHORI. CHAUHAN QUEEN SOON COMMITTED SUICIDE. THIS BATTLE PAVED THE WAY FOR MUSLIM RULE IN INDIA. SINCE THE MOST POWERFUL CHAUHAN KINGDOM WAS DESTROYED, OTHER KINGDOMS WERE SOON CAPTURED BY GHURIDS AND THE WHOLE NORTH INDIA CAME UNDER UGLY AND CRUEL MUSLIM RULE.

    • tremendously wrong

you should check you facts from correct resources.

it is pretty clear that you do not know the history yourself and have been mistaught by your (single) source.

      overall poor comment.

  3. Ghori captured batinda fort of prithviraj within one day. Then followed the first battle of tarain in which ghori was defeated and retreated by huge rajput army led by prithviraj. Though prithviraj and the rajputs were physically weak compared to muslims they won because of sheer number of weight. Shihabuddin captured Bhatinda with ease while Prithviraj Chauhan took 13 months to do it even when he was extremely familiar with it. Just 300 muslims were in the fort and they were able to frustate prithviraj’s huge army for 13 months. Rajputs captured it finally but to lose it soon as ghori again arrived to butcher rajputs. During this second battle Prithviraj became very weaker physically because he had spent most of his time with his wife sanyuktha in his harem as they were newly married. Prithviraj did not practised for the war and so inspite of having large army he was defeated and killed by ghori and his wife was raped by ghori.

  4. Ghori butchered Prithviraj’s soldiers and the blood of the infidels flowed so copiously at Thanesar that the stream was discolored, not withstanding its purity, and people were unable to drink it. Ghori killed prithviraj and raped his beautiful wife samyuktha who then committed suicide. This killing of prithviraj and raping of prithviraj’s beautiful queen by Ghori were explained in detail before. Then Sultan cruelly plundered all hindu house holds in Ajmer which is impossible to count. Praise be to Allah for the honor he bestows on Islam and Muslims. The Muslims paid no regard to the booty till they had satiated themselves with the slaughter of the infidels. The number of infidels killed by them exceeded 5,00,000. In two days after sacking Ajmer Ghori reached Delhi. He arrived in the midst of the city and put to death every male, Even those of eight years of age, and raped all women who reached age. Pregnant women were also became prey to his lust. Ghori killed the adult male Hindu inhabitants for the glory of Islam, set flowing rivers of blood, sent the women of the chauhan’s harem with all their gold, silver, and jewels, to his own home, and made about twenty thousand maidens his private slaves. According to Muhmud Ghori, “Hindus are like the mud; if silver is demanded from them, they must with the greatest humility offer gold. If a Mohammadan desire to spit into a Hindu’s mouth, the Hindu should open it wide for the purpose. God created the Hindus to be slaves of the Mohammadans. The Prophet hath ordained that, if the Hindus do not accept Islam, they should be imprisoned, tortured, finally put to death, and their property confiscated.” Then ghori entered the fort of prithvi in delhi. In a short space of time all the people in the fort were put to the sword, and in the course of one hour the heads of 10,000 infidels were cut off. The sword of Islam was washed in the blood of the infidels, and all the goods and effects, the treasure and the grain which for many a long year had been stored in the fort became the spoil of his soldiers. They set fire to the houses and reduced them to ashes, and they razed the buildings and the fort to the ground…. All these infidel Hindus were slain, their wives and children were made prisoners and their property and goods became the spoil of the victors. First of all wives of Hindu kings captured during the course of the p****er and rape came and sang and danced. Thereafter they are bestowed upon Amirs and important muslim priests. After that wives of other Hindus danced and sang…Sultan gave them to brothers, sons of high officials etc. The Sultan also distributed girls to generals and his relatives. Muslims pillaged chauhan empire for six months and killed every Hindu man and children, raped every woman including pregnant women. Ghori dug up the foundations with the greatest care and the heads of Brahmins and idolaters danced from their necks and fell to the ground and their feet and blood flowed in torrents. In this way Ghori destroyed the whole Chauhan Empire.

  5. Prithviraj Chauhan: Lessons to be Learnt

Prithviraj Chauhan (1178 – 1192 AD), the ruler of Ajmer and Delhi was one of the greatest and most powerful rulers of India. When he came to the throne he found himself with material pleasures and amorous situations. India was politically united and Prithviraj was the central authority in the country. This last Rajput Emperor was quarrelling with Mohammed Ghori who was planning seriously not only to invade India but also to have permanent domination and control over the country. Ghori had already captured western Punjab from Prithviraj and thus was knocking on the doors of Prithviraj Chauhan’s domain whose immediate but very difficult task now was to check the advancement of the invader. Ghori decided to invade Gujarat, which was Chalukya king Mulraja-II’s domain. It is fortunate for India that Prithviraj and Mulraja-II were on good terms with each other. In the battle that followed Ghori was defeated. Both the Indian kings had combined and faced the enemy, thus they had inflicted a crushing defeat on the invader who probably had again gathered courage to dream about conquering India. Mohammed Ghori proposed a peace treaty to Prithviraj, while he was invading the other parts of the country but the proud Rajput refused to enter into any alliance with him. After the withdrawal of the invader, Prithviraj found good opportunity to expand. He followed an aggressive policy towards his neighbours, so he got much territorial gain. He initially developed enmity with Jaya Chandra, the powerful king of Kannauj due to the desire of both to dominate over North India but soon after the first battle of Tarain, the enmity turned into matrimoial alliance and friendship due to Prithviraj’s romance with Sanyogita, Jaya Chandra’s daughter. War with the Muslim invader was becoming inevitable because Mohammed Ghori was determined to invade and conquer India whereas Prithviraj, being Emperor of India, was determined to face the enemy and not to allow him to proceed further. In 1191 AD Ghori proceeded towards India and captured Bhatinda. Prithviraj too advanced towards Bhatinda to check the enemy’s advance. Both the armies faced each other at Tarain. In the first battle of Tarain Mohammed Ghori was defeated. It was with great difficulty that a Khilji noble could save his life and took him away from there. Prithviraj won a victory but he could not chase him and inflict a crushing defeat on Ghori. Prithviraj was in a hurry to attend Sanyogita’s Swayamvar and he wanted to marry her at any cost. He allowed the enemy to leave India and did not take full advantage of the situation, which had arisen out of this victory. Mohammed Ghori, after the defeat at Tarain was on the look out for an opportunity when he could strike back and take revenge. In 1192 AD he again invaded India with an army of 1,00, 000 Muslim men. Both the armies faced each other again at Tarain. Prithviraj had the support of all powerful rulers of hindustan who had extended their support to him at this critical juncture. Though Prithviraj had very large army than Ghori he could not achieve victory as he wasted most of his valuable time after the first battle by enjoying with his beautiful wife sanyogita. So he could not fight well in the battle. Prithviraj realised that the enemy was in an advantageous position and proposed a peace treaty to the invader. He offered him Bhatinda and East Punjab. The invader found it a good pretext to prepare for war. Prithviraj continued his honeymoon endlessly with his beautiful wife Sanyogita and Ghori using this opportunity suddenly attacked him and inflicted a crushing defeat on him. Prithviraj was caught and killed by Ghori. His wife Sanyogita was captured and raped by Ghori. Sanyogita was forced to accept Islam and Ghori forcibly married her. This was the turning point in the history of India. Thus, Delhi and gradually the rest of India fell into the hands of Muslims.
Reasons for Prithviraj’s defeat:· The main reason for Prithviraj’s defeate was his lovely wife Sanyogita. After the first battle Prithviraj married Sanyogita and wasted his valuable time by enjoying with his charming wife. He never left his harem and not practiced for any war in future. Thus he wasted his seminal energy and became soft and weak. Prithviraj’s expansionist policy resulted in unity with other Rajput and neighbouring states that sided with him when the enemy was on their head and knocking on the doors of India. Thus all the Indian kings combined together and had given a united fight to the invader under Prithviraj, so with a single big defeat whole north India came under Ghori. If they fought under someother leader abandoning lustful Prithviraj, victory would have touched their feet and the history of our country would have been altogether different. Being at the doorsteps of North India and in the constant danger of Muslim invasion, Prithviraj should have developed good intelligence system, which he failed to do. Prithviraj could not foresee that the enemy could take advantage of the time when he was continuing his endless honeymoon with his lovely Queen. As a shrewd ruler he should have sent his intelligence to find out how far the enemy was serious about his next invasion. At the time of both first and second battles of Tarain, Prithviraj allowed the enemy to come up to Bhatinda. It is after the fall and capture of Bhatinda that he proceeded to check the advance of the enemy. It was decidedly a wrong policy. He should have checked the enemy as soon as it was known that the invader was proceeding towards India. It was obviously more difficult to root out an enemy once he was on the soil of India. Instead of being offensive he remained defensive and acted only when attacked upon. After his victory in the first Battle of Tarain, Mohammed had been defeated and was being removed as an injured person. It was an appropriate time when he should have vigorously followed and tried to kill him. He should have created havoc for demoralised and defeated army of the enemy and taught it a lesson not to see towards India again. But Prithviraj allowed the opportunity to miss and he rushed to Kannouj to marry Sanyogita. Modern India has a lot to learn from the mistakes of Prithviraj Chauhan. We Indians continue to repeat the same mistakes – right from Prithviraj Chauhan to Kargil. In spite of having suffered so much at the hands of Muslims, we seem not to have learnt any lessons from our history.

  7. Sanyogita never be raped by Gauri. Even Prithviraj killed Gauri first and then he killed himself.

  8. In the first battle of Tarain Prithviraj’s army had 3,00,000 soldiers in horses, 3,000 elephants, 5,00,000 foot-soldiers and 2,00,000 bowmen. But you have mentioned it as just 1,00,000 soldiers. Muhammed Ghori’s army had 20,000 Muslim soldiers. Around 15,000 Muslim soldiers & more than 1,00,000 Hindu soldiers lost their lives in this first battle.

In the second battle of Tarain Prithviraj’s army had 5,00,000 soldiers in horses, 5,000 elephants and 7,00,000 foot-soldiers and 3,00,000 bowmen. Muhammed Ghori’s army had 40,000 Muslim soldiers. Around 500 Muslim Soldiers & more than 10,00,000 Hindu soldiers lost their lives in the battlefield.

Remaining 5,00,000 Hindu soldiers who ran away from the battlefield along with their Raja Prithviraj were chased and killed by the Muslims. Muhammed Ghori captured Prithviraj and castrated him immediately. Then Ghori took castrated Prithviraj to Ajmer where he captured and raped Prithviraj’s gorgeous wife Samyukta infront of him. Then Ghori beheaded Prithviraj and married Samyukta after forcibly converting her to Islam.

  9. yogapriya/Jitesh,
I can only laugh after reading your posts. Even in this modern age you expect people to belive your baseless stories like “Ghori raped Samyukta” and “Prithviraj was castrated”. WOW…. good try.. Better luck next time. Beside, even though Prithviraj’s army was bigger than Ghori’s, the numbers that you have provided is not practical and false trying to prove muslim invaders as heroes. But posting false reports under false names does not work these days :) :)

  10. I think, whosoever has written these barbaric statements knows nothing about PRC. PRC killed Ghori in his own court and IN FRONT OF ALL OF HIS COURTIERS, being absurdly incapable to save their so called SULTAN, they can only release their rage on the Grave of the Great.

BUT THE WORLD KNOWS THAT THE ONLY WAY THAT GHORI WAS LEFT WITH TO DEFEAT PRC IS TREACHERY. HE DID IT AND OUR KIND-HEARTED KING FELL IN THE TREACHERY.

ONE MORE THING……..GHORI WAS NEVER ABLE TO TOUCH THE LIVING SANYOGITA…..HE MAY HAVE DONE ANYTHING AFTER HER DEATH.

    PRITHVIRAJ CHAUHAN STILL RULES…….

  11. Look…Ghori was the one who was impotent and that was the reason he was defeated 6 times continuously by PRC.

Now check your worrrrrrrrrds always before posting them. PRC may have died 1000 years ago, but he still lives in us as one of the geatest Hindu Kings of all time.

  26. Famous 12th century historian Ferishta records, “Sultan Muhammed Ghori defeated and killed Hindu Raja Prithviraj Chauhan. After that Ghori rushed to Prithviraj’s fort and captured it. Ghori now entered Prithviraj’s harem penetrating all forty of Prithviraj’s concubines in one night. Prithviraj’s most amorous wife, Rani Samyuktha being raped by Ghori protested that such action was an outrage, but Ghori said the outrage was justified in that all of their offsprings would be Muslims.”

some say samyukta fell into fire once prithvi was captured and some say she was captured by Ghouri wats the truth and wat does indian history belive ?

Indian history has kept mum on this topic. Because It might be the sad event. perhaps the wound.
Let it be cleared that Rani Padmini was after samyukta’s era. Rani Padmini comitted jauhar. It has the historical proofs and her grave also present in north India. If Samyukta had comitted jauhar; then one must had find her grave also; but this did not happen. The mum of Indian history and the lack of grave or tale of Samyukta shows that there must have happened some tragedy.
    What would it be then?
One guess is that Ghouri might have raped Samyukta. yes; this is cruel and not easier to digest; as we are Indians. But It is true that Ghouri entered Prithvi’s bedroom in mid-night. It was not the time to fight. But Ghori broke the rule; because he was passionate of Prithvi’s defeate.
It is wel-known that Jaichand, the father of Samyukta; first fought against Prithvi; but after the defeat of Prithvi he fought against Ghori. Why?…It must be the only reason; that Ghori had raped Jaychand’s daughter.
Paki bastard historians narrate this epic with the taste. But irrespect of their non-senseness one conclusion is echoing that Ghori must have raped Samyukta.
The horror happened with Samyukta must have given birth to the concept of Johar in Rajputana. Rani Padmini has just followed the custom, (perhaps) to avoid the horror happened with samyukta must not repeat with her.
It is wel-known that Ghori was so scared of Prithvi and he was jealous him so much that he had ordered to finish each and every chauhan from the earth. So genocide of chauhans had taken place. The royal family of Chauhans was killed. So many relatives of Prithvi ran away and went to Gujrat; Madhya pradesh, Maharashtra. Some of them even hide their identity and surnames to distract Ghori’s army.

  28. Mr. S.C. Sharma is not a historian. He is just a Traveller, who tried to get popular by saying myths as truths. This was published in “Indian Express”, a english daily newspaper and Govt. of India has asked for clarification. Then he confessed his guilty of making false story to higher Govt. officials. Even a team of Indian Historians visited Afghanistan and proved that the grave was not of PRC but of some Bhuddist Saint. Mr.S.C. Sharma had been fined Rs. 50,000 by the Delhi High Court. Plz check the English Daily “the Hindu”, dated 12-7-03 for this article.

  29. hey u fucking asshole panesar stop writing shit. everyone knows how prithvi beat ghori. so noone is even going to listen to u. get the hell out og here.

  31. Prithviraj Chauhan III was an orthodox Hindu. He ruled as per the Hindu Dharma. He banned meat selling & consumption in his kingdom. He himself was a vegetarian. He banned hunting of timid animals. He banned catching of fish & hunting of birds. He rewarded DEATH for the slaughtering of COWS.

Prithviraj’s kingdom included today’s Rajasthan, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, much of Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, some parts of Gujarat & Kashmir. His kingdom was gifted with Rivers Ganges, Yamuna, Saraswati (now dried), Sutlej, Beas, & Ravi which made his landscapes highly fertile expect some parts of Rajasthan. Agriculture was well flourished & cattle rearing was also common. His kingdom had thousands of granaries which were full of Wheat & Rice. Milk production was massive due to abundance of Cattles. His kingdom was very famous for Silk & Velvet production. Most of the people wore Silk & Velvet dresses while some also preferred Cotton dresses.

Prithviraj Chauhan was the richest king in the world then. His “Ghajana” had tonnes of Gold, millions of Gemstones like Diamonds, Pearls, Rubys, Sapphires & Emeralds. His Kingdom had abundant sources of metals like Gold, Silver, Steel, Iron & Copper. His Kingdom had 11 Gold mines. According to “Hammira Mahakavya”, his ‘Ghajana’ had more than 10,000 tonnes of Gold besides uncountable number of Gemstones.

Prithviraj Chauhan’s Army was the largest army in the world then. He maintained a standing army of 5,00,000 Horses, 50,000 Elephants, 5,00,000 archers & 20,00,000 soldiers in armour beside many servants & servant-maids.

Prithviraj Chauhan built more than 5,00,000 huge Temples all over his Empire. His empire had more than 50,00,000 huge Temples. People were rich & lived happily under his rule. He rewarded Brahmins with gold & lands. He rewarded 1000 Gold coins to every women for each child birth. He gifted 1000 Gold coins, 5 acres of fertile land & a big house for every newly married couples. He encouraged love marriages known as “Gandharva Vivahas”

Prithviraj Chauhan encouraged his people to follow Hinduism. Hinduism flourished under his rule. Many festivals, poojas & bhajans were conducted throughout the year. He was also tolerant to Buddhism & Jainism. He banned Quran & Islam in his Empire. His empire had a population of more than 2,00,00,000. Hindus formed 98% of the population, Buddists & Jainists formed 1% each.

Prithviraj hated Islam from his heart. He demolished around 500 Mosques built by previous Muslim invaders and made his land free of Mosques. He either killed or drew away all the Muslims from his Empire. No Muslim ever lived within his boundary. He strictly prohibited the incursion of Muslims into his Empire. He mercilessly punished the intruders from the Ghorid Empire.

Prithviraj Chauhan defeated Muslims under Ghori in the first battle of Tarain but Ghori escaped from the battlefield. Prithviraj then married Samyukta, the most beautiful princess ever & became amorous with his new lovely wife. Ghori heard about the beauty of Prithviraj’s Queen and again invaded Hindustan not to capture it but to capture it’s Rani. This time Ghori & his handful of Muslims massacred the huge Hindu army. Ghori defeated & mercilessly killed Prithviraj in the second battle of Tarain. Then Ghori rushed to Prithviraj’s capital Ajmer & captured it. He strommed the fort & captured Prithviraj’s beautiful Queen Rani Samyuktha. After raping her to his extent, Ghori went to Prithviraj’s Ghajana. He ordered his soldiers to calculate the amount of Gold in the Ghajana. He came to know that it had more than 10,000 tonnes of Gold. Ghori told that it was great but not greater than the amazing beauty of Rani Samyuktha. Ghori uttered, “Pithauro’s Rani has moon to lotus like soft body with the smell of jasmine to rose with the taste of mango juice to tender coconut water from above to below”. Later Rani Samyuktha became Ghori’s favourite concubine.

    • wrong again.

if prithviraj chauhan was such an extremist that he would kill all muslims and signs of islam under his rule. then how come after winning the first battle of taraori he let ghori go?

obviously you do not have any idea what you are talking about.

      carry on!

  32. Prithviraj Chauhan, the last ruler of Chauhan dynasty to sit on the throne of Delhi, was born in 1168 as the son of Someshwar Chauhan, the king of Ajmer. He was a brilliant child and very sharp at learning the military skills. He had the skill of hitting the target only on the basis of its sound

He expanded his empire, during this time Mahmud Ghori attacked India in 1191 and he was defeated at the first battle of Tarain. After defeating the army of Mahmud Ghori he was asked to attack the retreating army but in true Rajput tradition he refused to do so as it did not conform to the fair war rules. As a result Mahmud ghori again attacked India and in the second battle of Tarain Prithviraj Chauhan was defeated and captured.

And because in first battle pritviraj left muhammad with his life thats why gauri never tried to kill chauhan even just made him blind .He was treated very badly, his eyes were burnt with red-hot irons and he was made blind. But Prithviraj did not lose courage. Helped by his court poet and friend Chand Bardai, he is believed to kill Mahmud ghori with his “shabdabhedi baan”. His skill of hitting the target just on the basis of sound made by it come handy. and during the archery competition organized by Mahmud ghori, he displayed his skill. When Mahmud ghori praised him he heard his voice and attacked him. Mahmud ghori was killed. In order to escape death at the hands of enemies he and his friend Chand Bardai stabbed each other.

  33. Important Battles

Muhammad Ghori, hailing from Ghor in present-day Afghanistan, grew increasingly powerful. He conquered Ghazni and subsequently defeated the Ghaznavid governor of Punjab. Muhammad Ghori’s domain now touched upon that of Prithvi Raj Chauhan. A clash was inevitable.
Muhammud Ghori and Prithviraj chauhan had clashed 15 times before the battle of tarrain.
    1) The first clash was when muhammud ghori had held the pilgrims on the koteshwar yatra captive. During this time sanyogita was also held captive here. Prithviraj chauhan had saved the pilgrims as well as sanyogita on this first encounter. Here, it was the first time when Ghori and Prithviraj chauhan introduced themselves face to face. A sword clash had occured and the victory here was of Prithviraj Chauhan’s. However, as ghori promised to never enter india again, prithviraj set ghori free.
    2) The second clash was when Samar SIngh had come to prithivraj chauhan for help. He had explained how Muhammud of Ghor had his eyes on Chittor. Prithviraj vowed to help his friend Samar Singh in his war. The battle was fought at Chittorgargh. Here, Prithviraj’s army and Samar Singh had clashed with Ghori’s forces. Again the vitory was of Prithviraj Chauhan. Ghori’s forces diminished and retreated.
    3) The third clash was when Ghori had claimed to take over a village on the Northern province of Prithviraj Chauhan. He had used the villagers to build a fort for himself. The fort was completed earlier than expected. When Prithviraj Chauhan came to know of this, he and Samar Singh along with his army marched to the fort. Many attempts were created to enter the fort. However, in the attempt of entering the fort, many of Prithviraj chauhan’s forces had diminished. Prithviraj chauhan thought of an idea of digging an underground tunnel to entr the fort. Whilst Samar Sigh was appointed responsibility to ensure the tunnel was dug, Prithviraj Chauhan distracted Ghori’s forces. When the tunnel was made, Prithviraj Chauhan was able to enter the fort. However, most of his forces had diminished. In fact, there were only about 10 soldiers left. The nearby villagers had vowed to help Prithviraj chauhan in this battle and the villagers joined prithviraj chauhans army. A huge sword clash occured between ghori and prithviraj chauhan. However, ghori again managed to escape.
    4) The fourth clash was when ghori and vanraj had joined forces to kidnap and attempt to kill samar singh. Prithviraj chauhan came to know of this and had reached to the location where samar singh was held through the disguise of being a ghurid soldier. He had killed the ghurid soldiers and eventually came face to face again with ghori. Another sword clash occured. However, just as prithivraj was about to kill ghori, tadar khan ( a general of ghori) held a knife against samar singh’s neck. Tadar khan threatened to kill samar singh if prithviraj chauhan would not let ghori go. Vanraj was killed here and ghori escaped.
    5) The fifth clash was initially planned to be full combat war. However, ghori had attempted many times to win before prithviraj even reached the battleground. Prithviraj chauhan’s soldiers were poisoned and he suffered many casualties. However, prithviraj chauhan decided to be more careful and had assessed the strength of the ghurid army. He then decided to pounce on them at night. Prithviraj chauhan’s army dressed in disguise and had secretly, tacticfully and quietly killed some of the ghurid soldiers, reducing the strength of the ghurid army. Later on, prithvi’s army surrounded ghori’s soldiers. Prithviraj chauhan however came face to face with ghori. Ghori was shocked and had ordered his soldiers to kill prithvi. However, they coudnt as they were held captive by prithvi’s army. Prithvi and ghori clashed with spears this time. GHori was wounded in the personal combat. However, he pretended to be dead. HOweve,r when prithvi was celebrating his victory, ghori got up and attempted to kill prithvi. However, mir hussein was killed instead. Mir hussein was ghori’s little brother. MIr had previously came into prithvi’s refuge, seeking for protection from his own brother. Prithvi was sad that he couldnt save Mir hussein. In the meantime, ghori had vanished into thin air. He wasn’t to return until after Sanyogita’s swayamwar.

  38. First Battle of Tarain (1191 CE)
Muhammad Ghori invaded Prithvi Raj’s domains and laid siege to the fortress of Bhatinda in Punjab, which was at the frontier between the two kingdoms. Prithviraj’s appeal for help from his father-in-law was scornfully rejected by the haughty Jaichandra. Undaunted, Prithvi Raj marched on Bhatinda and gave battle to the invaders at a place called Tarain near the town of Thanesar.
In face of the Rajput onslaught, the invading Muslim army was defeated. Ghori being critically wounded was taken out of the battle ground by his faithful body guard.

  39. Prithvi Raj’s heroic death and revenge
Chanderam told Mahmud that this taunting would avail nothing, for Prithvi Raj would never do as some sundry courtiers bade him do. He said that Prithvi Raj, as an anointed king, would not accept orders from anyone other than another king. His ego thus massaged, and in the spirit of the occasion, Mahmud agreed to personally give Prithvi the order to shoot. Some iron plates were hung and Prithivi Raj was asked to aim at them.A man was to strike the plate with a hammer and Prithvi Raj was supposed to hit that plate.
Thus, Chanderam provided Prithvi Raj with an aural indication of where Mahmud was seated. He gave Prithvi Raj one further indication of the same, by composing a couplet on the spot and reciting the same in Prithvi Raj’s hearing. The couplet, composed in a language understood only by Prithvi Raj went thus:
“Char bans, chaubis gaj, angul ashta praman, aete par sultan hai, mat chuko Chauhan.”
(Four measures ahead of you and twenty four yards away as measured with eight finger measurement, is seated the Sultan. Do not miss him now, Chauhan).
Mahmud then ordered Prithvi Raj to shoot. Prithvi Raj thus came to know the location of Mahmud and started shooting at the plates. When he hit the target courtiers said “vah” “vah” and Mahmud said “Shabash”, recognising Mahmud’s voice and turning in the direction from where he heard Mahmud speak, Prithvi Raj took aim based only on the voice and on Chanderam’s couplet, he sent an arrow racing to Mahmud’s throat. Mahmud was thus struck dead by Prithvi Raj. Prithvi Raj and Chanderam did not want to die from the hands of Mahmud’s courtiers so they stabbed each other.

  48. I KILLED gHORI GHORI KI MAABHI CHOD DALUI

  49. Sultan Mohammed Ghori and his jihadis offered fajar prayers in early morning darkness outside of Tarain. Then they attacked the rajputs who were amorous inside their tents with their young beautiful wives.
    BLOODSHED AFTER TARAIN PRAYER
    Bukharee, Volume 5, Book 59, Number 510:
Narrated Anas bin Malik: We reached Tarain early in the morning and the hindus were busy inside their tents enjoying with their women, and when they saw Sultan Ghori they said, “Mohammad Ghori! Ghori and his army!”
The Sultan said, “Allah-Hamara! hindus are destroyed.”
    PRITHVIRAJ BEHEADED
Prithviraj Chauhan, the King of rajputs was severely injured in the battle by Ghori.
Aibak dragged the bleeding Prithviraj to his master.
Mohammed: Rai Pithauro, where did you hide your wife?
King Prithviraj: My wife? She is not here? We are hindus not ugly muslims like you…
Mohammed: Mind your language Prithviraj, you are talking to Mohammed of Ghor
King Prithviraj: Mohammed of Ghor my ass. You are a killer and a rapist….
Mohammed: Aibak, get him away from me and cut off his tongue.
Aibak: if we cut off his tongue how will we make him talk..
Mohammed: OK, then I will cut his private parts, torture him and make him talk.
(Ghori kicked hard Pithauro’s private parts, peeled off the skin above and moved it around with a hot rod to give him maximum pain. Pithauro was already badly injured and bleeding. He passed out without talking.)
Mohammed: The bastard passed out. Khilji cut off his head.
    Tabari VIII:122; Ishaq:515:
“The Sultan tortured Pithauro until he root out and extract where his Queen was. Ghori kindled a fire on Prithviraj’s private parts, twirling it with his firestick until Pithauro was near death. Then the Sultan gave him to Khilji, who beheaded him.”
    ROUNDING UP OF CAPTURED WOMEN
The most exciting part of a jihad for jihadis was distribution of captured women. First Ghori picked his 20% cut, mostly very young and pretty ones, then one by one names of jihadis were drawn by a lottery and captured women were distributed among them. All the mujahids started rounding up Rajput women and bringing them
to the holding compound… Khilji searched for Prithviraj’s beautiful wife and entered his luxurious tent and grabbed his lovely 17 year old young wife Rani Samyukta. She was brought to the Sultan. On the way she saw the dead bodies of their murdered family members and the headless body of Raja Prithviraj. Mohammed was drinking wine near the decapitated body of Prithviraj which was lying in a pool of blood.
    Bukhari 7:69:486:
Samyukta went berserk when she saw Ghori celebrating near her husband’s castrated body. She attacked him cursing loudly. Ghori’s drinking utensil slipped from his hand spilling his favourite wine.
    SAMYUKTA GIVEN TO BHAKTIYAR KHILJI
Mohammed: See what you did Rani, can’t you see I am drinking? Khilji control this fresh fruit and take her away.
Khilji: What do you want me to do with her Sultan?
Mohammed: Take her to your tent and enjoy her. She is all yours.
    Khilji: Shukran Sultan Shukran.
Khilji took the beautiful and shapely teenager to his tent….Samyukta fought hard and resisted as she was disrobed to be violated. Soon a crowd gathered to see the commotion in Khilji’s tent. They were awestruck with Samyukta’s figure and beauty. Several jihadis ran to the Sultan and praised Samyukta’s form in front of him.
    Sahih Muslim 8:3329:
Samyukta (Allah be pleased with her) fell to the lot of Khilji in the spoils of war,
and they praised her in the presence of the Sultan (may peace be upon him) and said: We have not seen the like of her among the captives of war.
Ghori’s 30-man libido kicked in and instantly aroused him.
Mohammed: Aibak go right away and retrieve Samyukta from Khilji.
Aibak went right away and found Khilji still trying to subdue Samyukta. He ordered him to leave her alone, but Khilji ignored the command… Aibak then kicked Khilji’s bare bottom with such a violent force with his iron toed sandal that Khilji defecated blood and collapsed over Samyukta. Aibak retrieved Samyukta and brought her to the Sultan. Limping and protesting Khilji also followed them. Mohammed threw his robe over Samyukta to claim her. But Khilji was not prepared to give in.
    Bukhari 5:59:512:
Samyukta was amongst the captives, She first came in the share of Khilji
but later on she belonged to the Sultan Ghori.
KHILJI OFFERED TEN FOR ONE DEAL
Khilji: Sultan, that is not fair at all. You had given Samyukta to me.
Mohammed: “I changed my mind. I will give you ten young royal hindu women in her place. You will love them, they are very young and virgins. You can have a great threesome tonight”.
(Muslim 8:3329: ‘He was given ten rajput women in lieu of Samyukta by the Sultan’)
Khilji: “Sultan I don’t enjoy little girls. You can keep them, just return my Samyukta.
Mohammed: “Khilji don’t be a pest. I will sweeten the pot and throw in ten more young hindu women .You can have great pleasure tonight, twenty royal rajput girls.”
Khilji: “I don’t want anything, please kindly return my Samyukta”.
Mohammed: Okay what if I offered fifty rajput women in all”.
Khilji: Ghori, I have enough women from the last jihad. I just need Samyukta”
(Now the Sultan got really ticked off.)
Mohammed: “Khilji, you stubborn mule, just take what I offered before I change my mind and have your private parts removed instead.”
(Khilji knew Ghori meant what he said. He took fifty rajput women & left in a hurry)
(Sahih Muslim 8:3328: “Allah’s Sultan (may peace be upon him) got her (Samyukta) in exchange of fifty lovely hindu ladies”.)
    GHORI RAPES SAMYUKTA
Mohammed then hurried to his tent with Samyukta. There were three rajput girls already in Ghori’s tent with whom he had a foursome the previous night. Mohammed called out Aibak and Khilji.
Mohammed: Aibak take Payal, Yultaz you take Tara and your son likes little girls so give this little girl to him, she is hardly ten…
(The History of Tabari, Vol. 8, p. 29-30:
From his share of captive women, Ghori gave his son-in-law, Aibak a rajput girl, Payal to enjoy her at his will. He also presented Yultaz, his father-in-law, another hindu girl Tara and bestowed another very young rajput girl to Yultaz. Yultaz gave that girl to his son Masud.)
Samyukta: Mohammed how can you be so cruel, you made those girls widows by killing their beloved husbands, then raped them all night and the next day you passed them on to other men.
Ghori: Allah 4:20 gives all muslim men that privilege of changing their women at will
Samyukta: And that ten year old girl you gave to Yultaz, how could you have intercourse with her…
Mohammed: Who said I had intercourse with her. I only thighed her. It is my rule never to have sex with girls below the age of 10.
When Mohammed made advances towards Samyukta, she resisted. How could she submit to a man who had killed her dear husband few hours back.
Mohammed: What is your problem Samyukta.
Samyukta: Mohammed, I don’t like you because you killed my beloved husband. I hate those who kill innocent men and rape their women.
Mohammed: What are you talking about., it was not us, but Allah who killed them by our hands. Here is the aya 8.17: “It is not ye who slew them; it was Allah…” Besides kafirs are never innocents, they are fair games for us, Once we kill them we are allowed sex with their wives and daughters according to to ayas 4.3. So stop this nonsense and let me have you. I had defeated and killed your dear husband. So you must be mine. I don’t have time to waste. If you resist I will rape you and give you back to ugly Khilji.

Samyukta realized resistance was futile. She will get raped any ways, either by Ghori or another jihadi. At least Ghori had a regular supply of slave-girls from his 20% cut of booty and many resident wives. She will be hit less for sex less often. With regular jihadi she will be raped day and night then sold in a slave market to the highest bidder. She gave up the fight and laid motionless while the Ghori got his jollies.
In the middle of night Ghori noticed a man peeping through a hole in the tent and watching the action. The Sultan grabbed his arrow head and poked the eye of the offender stealthily putting his eye out.
    Bukhari 9:83:38a:
A man peeped into the dwelling place (tent) of the Sultan. The Sultan got up and aimed a sharp-edged arrow head at him to poke him stealthily. After a few hours of sleep and taajjud prayers, the Sultan approached Samyukta again for more action when he heard some movement near his tent. He figured the Peeping Tom was back for seconds. This time the Sultan was so pissed off he decided to go out and cut off the manhood of the stubborn peeping Tom.
    Ibn Hisham, p. 766
Samyukta was captured in the second battle of Tarain and was claimed by the Sultan as his share of booty. She was then seventeen. In the early dawn, the Sultan suspected some movement near the tent. It was Aibak (apparently the earlier peeping Tom was some one eles) He asked him what he was doing near his tent (Aibak had got many captured woman in this raid, but still he was getting his jollies
by checking out action in Sultan’s tent). He replied: “I was afraid for you with this young lady. You had killed her beloved husband and many of her relatives, and till recently she was an unbeliever. I was really afraid for you on her account and was guarding you” (he didn’t have to keep an eye on them to guard them). The Sultan (either Ghori bought the lie or felt pity for the horny man who had put his life on line in the raid who had many captured royal hindu woman and yet spent the night looking around) prayed for Aibak.
Fifty nearing Ghori had a gala time with the grieving teenage widow that night. Next day he covered Samyukta in a burqa and proclaimed her as one of his wives.

The things some rotten people are saying about Prithwiraj Chauhan is all bulshit. He was the king of kings. Maharajao ka Maharaja. It was his kindness and his generosity that he did not kill Mohamed Gauri but set him free so many times. But Mohammed Gauri was a gandu who captuerd Prithviraj through treachery. Even after he removed PRC’s eyes PRC killed him thru the help of his Poet friend Chandar Bardai who informed him where Mohammed Gauri was sitting in a poetic way which only PRC understood. I love u PRC. You will always remain in my heart. Nevermind whatever the Monsters (Gauri and his chamchas) did to your body but they can never touch your soul. Prithviraj Chauhan hamesha amar rahe.
